Rough Magic's production of Improbable Frequency by Arthur Riordan and Bell Helicopter won three major awards at last night's 2004 Irish Times/ESB Irish Theatre Awards.
At a reception at Dublin's Burlington Hotel the much praised production picked up awards for Best Production, Best Director (Lynne Parker) and Best Costume Design (Kathy Strachan for her work on Improbable Frequency and Druid's production of The Playboy of the Western World).
Rough Magic also received nominations in the following categories: Best Set Design (Alan Farquharson, Improbable Frequency), Best Supporting Actress (Lisa Lambe, Improbable Frequency) and Best Supporting Actor (Vincent McCabe, Take Me Away).
